The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet combines advanced impact management, connected safety technology, and lightweight carbon fiber construction for riders who demand comprehensive protection and practical performance. This blue carbon, blue, and white helmet is size Medium and is manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4452M. It is ECE and DOT approved for applicable motorcycle and powersports use.
Quin Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to continuously evaluate riding data and automatically detect crash events. When paired with the Fly Smart App through Bluetooth 5.0, the Fly Racing helmet can record impact information, send alerts to designated emergency contacts, and provide live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, Q-Score, and other ride analytics. The SOS Beacon lets riders notify emergency contacts and eligible emergency services by tapping the helmet five times. A five-diamond monitoring center dispatch service is available to APEX subscribers.
The 12K carbon fiber shell provides a lightweight, penetration-resistant outer structure. RHEON Impact Energy Cells help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, while Conehead EPS Technology and strategically tuned impact zones manage energy across a range of crash conditions. Expanded-volume EPS adds protective material in key areas, and the expanded polypropylene chin bar offers additional energy absorption and damage resistance. A dedicated clavicle relief zone uses EPS and EPP to help reduce forces near the collarbone. Custom-molded rubber trim, an integrated nose guard, and a washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner support everyday riding comfort.
True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents while the helmet is in motion. Quick-release cheek pads simplify removal and cleaning. The rechargeable electronics use a fast-charge Micro USB connection and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and wake functions. Wireless updates keep the connected system current. Integrated LED lights display device status and flash red after a detected crash. A premium helmet garage and extra visor are included.
