The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Blue Carbon/Blue/White, size Large, combines advanced impact protection, lightweight construction, and connected safety technology for demanding motorcycle and powersports riding. Manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4452L identifies this specific configuration. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved and features a 12K carbon fiber shell designed to provide high penetration resistance while maintaining a lightweight profile.
Safety performance is supported by RHEON Impact Energy Cells, which help absorb low-speed linear and rotational impacts, and Conehead® EPS Technology, which manages impact forces through strategically tuned zones. Expanded EPS provides additional energy-absorbing material in key areas, while the expanded polypropylene chin bar adds damage resistance and impact mitigation. A dedicated clavicle shell relief zone is filled with EPS and EPP to help reduce forces near the collarbone. Custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard provides added coverage and finish quality.
Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate riding data and automatically detect crash events. When paired with the Fly Smart App through Bluetooth 5.0, the helmet supports crash notifications, emergency contact communication, SOS Beacon activation, and ride analytics including GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, and Q-Score data. A five-diamond monitoring center can dispatch local emergency services for APEX subscribers. Wireless updates help keep the system current, while integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red after a detected crash.
The washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support long-term comfort and convenient maintenance. True Functional Ventilation channels air through the helmet and directs it through rear exhaust vents while riding. The rechargeable battery supports fast charging through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and wake functions. This Large helmet includes a premium helmet garage and an extra visor. Fitment is intended for riders requiring a Fly Racing Formula S Carbon model in the Large size.
