The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Black Carbon/Teal/Lime, size XS, combines advanced impact protection with connected riding technology. Designed for performance-focused riders, this full-face helmet features a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell with excellent penetration resistance and a multi-stage impact management system. The Fly Racing manufacturer part number and vendor part number are 73-4453XS.
Integrated Quin® Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to continuously evaluate riding data and automatically detect a crash event. When paired with the Fly Smart App through Bluetooth 5.0, the helmet can record impact information, support emergency contact notifications, and provide ride analytics such as live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration, and Q-Score data. The SOS Beacon allows riders to notify contacts and eligible emergency services by tapping the helmet five times. APEX subscription services may provide five-diamond monitoring center response and local emergency dispatch.
Protection features include RHEON Impact Energy Cells for managing low-speed linear and rotational impacts, Conehead® EPS Technology, tuned impact zones, expanded-volume EPS, and an expanded polypropylene chin bar. The clavicle shell relief zone helps provide additional clearance and impact mitigation around the collarbone area. True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents to help maintain airflow while riding. The washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads support everyday comfort and maintenance.
The rechargeable electronics system supports a fast charge through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on use, with automatic sleep and wake functions. Integrated LED indicators show device status and flash red after a detected crash. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved and includes an extra visor and premium helmet garage. Fitment is intended for riders requiring an XS motorcycle helmet; confirm head measurement and sizing guidance before purchase.
