The Fly Racing Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet in Black Carbon/Grey/Silver, size XS, combines advanced impact protection with connected safety technology for motorcycle and powersports riders. Manufacturer and vendor part number 73-4450XS identifies this specific configuration. The helmet is ECE and DOT approved and features a lightweight 12K carbon fiber shell designed for strong penetration resistance. Fly Racing's Conehead EPS Technology, expanded-volume EPS, RHEON Impact Energy Cells, and EPP chin bar work together to manage both linear and rotational impact forces across multiple impact zones.
Integrated Quin Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate riding data and detect potential crash events. When connected to the Fly Smart App through Bluetooth 5.0, the system can record impact information, provide live GPS tracking and ride analytics, and notify designated emergency contacts. The SOS Beacon allows the rider to request assistance by tapping the helmet five times, while APEX subscribers can access five-diamond monitoring center support for emergency service dispatch. Integrated LED indicators display device status and flash red when a crash is detected.
The Formula S Carbon Byte Helmet is designed for comfortable, sustained use with washable, moisture-wicking, antimicrobial comfort liners and quick-release cheek pads. True Functional Ventilation channels air through multiple intake vents, aligned EPS passages, and rear exhaust vents while riding. A custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, clavicle shell relief zone, and included extra visor provide added practicality. The rechargeable battery supports fast charging through Micro USB and can provide up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and wake functions. Wireless updates keep the connected system current, and a premium helmet garage is included for storage. Fitment is for riders requiring an XS helmet size; confirm the manufacturer's sizing guide before purchase.
