EBC MD865XC Contour PLUS Rear Brake Rotor for Ducati Hypermotard 1100

With contoured profile to reduce weight, rear versions of this new programme are made in HPSR steel and zinc plated to avoid corrosion. The latest EBC contour PLUS rotors are made with special stainless steel and new lightweight profile and feature the new scraper slot system which has proved to be so successful in preventing early life rotor damage when bedding in new brakes. The scraper slots remove any loose particles/debris as the pads bed in during early life after fitment and prevent rotor scoring.

The EBC Contour PLUS MD865XC rear brake rotor is designed for select Ducati Hypermotard 1100 applications from 2008 through 2012. This rear rotor features a contoured, lightweight profile made from specialized stainless steel, providing dependable braking performance while helping reduce unsprung weight. The rotor is manufactured by EBC and is identified by manufacturer part number MD865XC and vendor part number 155-865XC.

Built for street use, the MD865XC incorporates EBC’s scraper slot system. These slots help clear loose particles and debris from the pad and rotor contact surfaces as new brake pads bed in, helping reduce early-life scoring and rotor damage. The zinc-plated rear construction also helps resist corrosion for lasting service in varying riding conditions.

Fitment: This EBC rear brake rotor fits 2008 and 2009 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 and Hypermotard 1100 S models, as well as 2010–2012 Ducati Hypermotard 1100 Evo and Hypermotard 1100 Evo SP models. Confirm the motorcycle year, model, and existing brake configuration before installation. Professional installation and proper bedding-in procedures are recommended for optimum performance.
