The EBC MD6002D Standard Rotor is a precision-engineered replacement brake rotor designed for dependable braking performance on select Honda CR500R motorcycles. Manufactured from EBC low-carbon HPSR steel, this rotor provides a strong, consistent braking surface for trail riding, motocross, and general off-road use. Its standard design makes it a practical replacement for worn or damaged original equipment rotors.
Laser and CNC punching reduce unnecessary weight while maintaining the strength needed for demanding riding conditions. The rotor is hardened and ground to support precise braking response, smooth pad contact, and consistent performance throughout the service life of the component. A nickel coating helps resist corrosion, supporting long-term durability in wet, muddy, and exposed riding environments.
This EBC brake rotor fits 1989–2001 Honda CR500R models, including the 1989, 1990, 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, 1998, 1999, 2000, and 2001 model years. Verify the motorcycle year and application before installation. The manufacturer part number is MD6002D, and the vendor part number is 15-6002.
