The EBC MD3060C Contour PLUS rear brake rotor is designed for reliable braking performance and consistent pad bedding on select Suzuki GSX-R1000 motorcycles. This rear rotor features a contoured, lightweight profile that helps reduce unsprung weight while maintaining the strength required for street and performance riding. Its specialized stainless steel construction provides dependable durability, and the zinc-plated finish helps resist corrosion in demanding riding conditions.
One of the key features of the EBC Contour PLUS design is its scraper slot system. These slots help remove loose particles and debris from the pad and rotor contact area as new brake pads bed in, helping reduce the risk of early rotor scoring and supporting smoother, more consistent braking during the initial service period. The rotor is manufactured by EBC and is identified by manufacturer part number MD3060C and vendor part number 15-3060C.
Fitment: This rear brake rotor fits 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011 Suzuki GSX-R1000 models. Confirm the motorcycle year and rear brake configuration before installation. The EBC MD3060C is intended as a direct-fit replacement for compatible applications and should be installed according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures. Pairing the rotor with properly matched brake pads and completing the recommended bedding process can help achieve optimal braking performance.
