The Cylinder Works 50005-K01 Standard Bore Cylinder Kit is designed as a direct replacement top-end solution for select KTM 65 SX motocross motorcycles from 2009 through 2018. This complete kit includes the cylinder, piston kit, and gaskets needed for a reliable standard-bore rebuild. The cylinder maintains a stock-style appearance while providing durable performance for recreational riding, racing, and engine restoration.
Built with a nickel silicon carbide-plated cylinder, the Cylinder Works kit is engineered for extended service life, consistent heat management, and dependable cylinder-wall durability. The piston is matched with Vertex components to support longevity, performance, and reduced engine noise. The standard-bore design is intended to replace the original cylinder without requiring additional machine work when installed according to the manufacturer’s specifications.
Fitment includes 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, and 2018 KTM 65 SX models. The included top-end gasket kit does not include valve stem seals.
