The Continental ContiSportAttack 5 rear motorcycle tire is engineered for supersport riders seeking confident cornering, precise steering, and dependable performance on the road or track. This 160/60ZR17 (69W) tire uses Continental MultiZoneBelt technology to balance straight-line stability with cornering agility. A tighter steel-belt configuration through the center supports stability, while broader belt spacing at the shoulder helps expand the contact patch and inspire confidence at high lean angles.
Continental’s BlackChili Compound delivers strong grip by improving road interlocking while supporting a controlled wear pattern during track riding. The newly engineered carcass uses targeted stiffness zones for responsive handling, while the outer-profile mini cuts promote tire flexibility, faster warm-up, and improved heat retention. Optimized tread zones and flatter tread-cut angles support aggressive supersport acceleration when exiting corners. TractionSkin technology helps provide a fast, secure break-in period, allowing riders to build confidence quickly after installation.
Designed for fitment on motorcycles requiring a 160/60ZR17 (69W) rear tire, the ContiSportAttack 5 combines a larger dynamic footprint with high void volume for enhanced grip at extreme lean angles and improved wet-weather performance where needed. Its solid backbone contributes to stability and useful mileage, making it a capable choice for spirited street riding, sport touring applications, and track-focused use. This Continental tire is identified by manufacturer part number 02447680000 and vendor part number 02447680000.
