Upgrade your Harley-Davidson Softail with the Cobra 602-2002 Detachable Round Chrome Backrest. Designed for model-specific fitment, this backrest provides practical rider support while allowing quick removal for around-town riding or when a clean rear profile is preferred. The proprietary pull-release mounting mechanism makes installation and removal convenient, and the included mounting hardware helps simplify the installation process when the required docking hardware is already in place.
The backrest features a round chrome sissy bar and a black vinyl leather pad installed and ready to mount. Its detachable design does not require relocation of the stock turn signals, helping preserve the original appearance and lighting arrangement of compatible motorcycles. The Cobra system is engineered for a secure fit and dependable everyday use, while the available short or tall positions allow riders to select the style and support that best suits their motorcycle.
Part number 602-2002 fits select Harley-Davidson Softail models, including the 2010–2012 FLSTSE CVO Softail, 2007–2009 FXSTSSE CVO Softail Springer, and 2012–2015 FLS Softail Slim. This Cobra backrest requires a separately purchased docking kit. It works best with Cobra docking hardware part number 82-96550 for the front and part number 82-86551 for the rear. Confirm motorcycle model and year before ordering. Made in the USA by Cobra.
