The BRAKING 785SM1 Semi-Metallic Brake Pad Set is designed to deliver dependable braking performance and controlled stopping power for select Suzuki motocross motorcycles. This brake pad set fits the 1996–2000 Suzuki RM80, 2002–2004 Suzuki RM85, and 2003–2004 Suzuki RM85L. The semi-metallic compound provides a balanced combination of friction, control, durability, and smooth rotor engagement for demanding riding conditions.
BRAKING develops its brake pads with an organic base material combined with a soft, non-aggressive metal formulation. This construction allows the pads to glide smoothly across the brake disc while maintaining consistent friction and responsive feel at the lever. The result is improved modulation and predictable braking control for trail, track, and recreational applications. Manufacturer part number 785SM1 and vendor part number 31-785S identify this application-specific brake pad set.
All BRAKING brake pads are asbestos-free and nickel-free. The 785SM1 pads are compatible with cast iron, stainless steel, and Carbiron® rotor materials. When paired with BRAKING rotors, they are engineered to provide excellent compatibility, control, and braking performance. Verify the motorcycle model and existing brake system before installation, and replace pads as a complete set according to the motorcycle manufacturer’s service procedures.
