Upgrade the intake performance of your Kawasaki KX60 with Boyesen 622 Dual-Stage Motorcycle Reeds. Designed as a direct-fit reed replacement for 1983 through 1992 Kawasaki KX60 models, these performance reeds help improve throttle response, airflow, and overall engine operation. The Boyesen dual-stage design uses reed petals with different tension characteristics to support responsive low-throttle performance while maintaining strong flow at higher engine speeds.
Replacing the original reed assembly with Boyesen Part Number 622 can provide a noticeable performance improvement with a relatively simple installation. The reeds are engineered to open and close faster than conventional designs, helping the engine respond more quickly to throttle input. Increased velocity and flow area support improved intake efficiency, while the durable construction is designed for extended service life in demanding motorcycle applications.
Fitment: Fits 1983–1992 Kawasaki KX60 motorcycles. This product is manufactured by Boyesen and is identified by manufacturer part number 622 and vendor part number 59-7622. Verify the motorcycle year and model before installation to ensure proper fitment. Boyesen reeds are designed to provide dependable performance without risking engine damage if a reed should break, making them a practical upgrade for maintenance, restoration, and performance applications.
