The BMC FM376/19 air filter is designed for the 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 Kawasaki ZX1000 Ninja ZX-10R. It uses multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low-viscosity oil and covered by an epoxy-coated alloy mesh to support airflow and filtration while helping protect against petrol fumes and oxidation caused by air humidity.
This washable BMC air filter is supplied pre-oiled and can be cleaned and regenerated using the appropriate BMC regeneration kit. Its single-mold construction avoids welded joints that may be prone to breakage. BMC states that the filter can contain impurities as small as 7 microns, compared with 10 microns for OEM filters.
