The Arai Regent-X Helmet combines a refined intermediate oval fit with advanced shell and shield design for confident street riding. Finished in Patch Yellow, this medium helmet features the Arai Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism, which supports a smoother shell profile through the temple area while simplifying shield installation and operation. The Regent-X uses Arai’s Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-CLC) shell, developed to balance strength and reduced weight. The shell is smoothly shaped along the Snell test line in the temple area to help the helmet glance off objects during an impact. A 5 mm flare around the base makes the helmet easier to put on and remove while maintaining a secure fit with the FCS2 cheek pads. The intermediate oval shape is designed to accommodate many head shapes commonly found in North American markets.
Interior comfort and ventilation are supported by a soft-brushed, removable liner that simplifies cleaning. Adjustable perimeter liner components and cheek pads allow riders to refine the fit to their individual requirements. FCS® cheek pads use a contoured shape, multiple foam densities, and a supportive foam spring to cradle the face while helping reduce wind noise. A one-piece exhaust vent improves heat extraction and aerodynamic stability, while the continuously open top exhaust vent assists with moisture removal around the eye-port area to help reduce shield fogging.
