The Arai Quantum-X Helmet is designed for riders who prefer a round oval head shape, with an interior liner that uses thicker front and rear pads and thinner side pads for a comfortable, secure fit. The VAS shield system features an improved latch that captures and securely holds the shield closed while allowing intuitive operation. Its Variable Axis System lowers the shield pivot point by an average of 24 mm, creating a smoother shell surface around the temple area to help improve glance-off performance. The helmet includes a VAS-Max Vision shield, which accepts a VAS-MV Pinlock lens, along with a Pinlock 120 MaxVision lens to help resist internal fogging during changing riding conditions. Airflow is managed by QVF three-position intake ducts and QVR exhaust ducts, providing effective ventilation while riding.
