The Arai Quantum-X Helmet in Aluminum Silver is designed for riders who need a comfortable round oval fit and dependable performance on every ride. Part number 0101-18166 features an interior liner with thicker front and rear pads and thinner side pads, creating a shape suited to riders whose heads are slightly wider rather than elongated. The carefully contoured fit works with Arai’s FCS® cheek pads to cradle the face, improve comfort during extended use, and make helmet removal easier.
The Variable Axis System (VAS) shield system improves the helmet’s glance-off capability by lowering the shield pivot point, creating a smoother shell surface in the critical temple area. This design helps reduce the amount of impact energy transferred into the helmet. The improved VAS latch securely captures the shield to help prevent unexpected opening, while its larger design supports intuitive operation and effective de-misting functionality. The included VAS-Max Vision (VAS-MV) shield accepts a Pinlock® lens, and a Pinlock® 120 MaxVision™ lens is included for enhanced fog resistance.
