The ARAI HELMETS Ram-X Helmet in Aluminum Silver, size XL, features an intermediate oval shape designed to fit the majority of head shapes in the North American market. Its Variable Axis System (VAS) shield design uses a lower pivot point made possible by a dual-pivot assembly, creating a smoother shell profile in the temple area and allowing the shield to function where a single-pivot design could not.
The helmet features a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner and a Z Resin shell construction that combines several resins with different characteristics. This construction bonds to the shell’s multiple layers and materials using less resin, helping improve shell strength while reducing weight. The Pro Shade System adapts to various light conditions without sacrificing helmet impact absorption performance and allows air to pass through at high speed.
Additional features include glasses compatibility through removable foam in the top of the earcup, along with removable earcups and covers for washing and access. The VAS-Z shield accepts a VAS-Z Pinlock lens, and a Pinlock 120 fog-resistant lens is included. Manufacturer part number: 0104-3556. Vendor part number: 0104-3556.
