The Arai Helmets XD-4 Cover White Frost Helmet is designed for riders who want adaptable performance, dependable ventilation, and long-distance comfort. This extra-small helmet features an intermediate oval interior shape that fits the majority of head shapes in North American markets. Its versatile design offers three distinct configurations, allowing riders to adjust the helmet’s appearance and functionality to suit changing riding preferences or conditions.
Comfort and fit are supported by Arai’s FCS cheek pad system, which includes a 5 mm peel-away custom-fit layer for more precise sizing. Peel-away side and temple crown pads provide the option to add up to 10 mm of interior width when additional space is needed. The fully removable, replaceable, and washable interior helps maintain a cooler, drier environment for improved comfort on extended rides. An emergency cheek pad release system with integrated pull-tabs also supports easier helmet removal when assisting an injured rider.
Ventilation and aerodynamic performance are enhanced by the high-flow peak, which helps reduce drag at highway speeds while directing air into the upper intake vents. Larger, sculpted vents improve airflow efficiency and helmet stability, while the chin vent provides additional intake ports for increased ventilation. Brow vents integrated into the faceshield direct airflow toward the temple area through the eyeport, improving rider comfort without requiring additional openings in the forehead area. This approach helps preserve shell integrity and impact energy management performance.
