The Arai Helmets Signet-X Helmet is designed for riders who need a long-oval fit, with additional interior length from front to back and reduced space side to side. This White, Large helmet is suited to riders with a narrower head shape and a more pronounced forehead. The Signet-X combines a performance-focused shell design, advanced shield operation, effective ventilation, and comfort features for dependable street riding protection.
Its Variable Axis System (VAS) shield mechanism helps refine the shell shape and lowers the shield pivot point by an average of 0.94 inches, creating a smoother shell surface through the temple area to help manage impact energy. The VAS latch securely holds the shield closed while the larger design supports intuitive operation. The included VAS-Max Vision shield accepts the VAS-MV Pinlock lens, and a Pinlock 120 lens is included to help reduce fogging in changing riding conditions.
The Peripherally Belted Super Complex Laminate Construction (PB-SCLC) shell combines multiple materials and construction techniques for a balanced mix of performance and value. QVF three-position intake and QVR exhaust ducts promote airflow during rides, including continued side exhaust function when the top front shutter is closed. FCS cheek pads use contoured shaping, layered foam densities, and a supporting foam spring to cradle the face while helping reduce wind noise. A water-repellent, removable ES chin cover enhances the helmet’s aerodynamic egg shape and promotes mouth-area exhaust. The odor-resistant liner helps resist bacterial buildup and keeps the interior fresher over time. This Arai Helmets Signet-X Helmet is identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 0101-18196.
