The Arai Helmets Ram-X Helmet in Small and Diamond White features an intermediate oval shape designed to fit the majority of head shapes in North American markets. Its VAS-Z shield system uses a lower pivot point enabled by a dual-pivot assembly, creating a smoother shell profile in the temple area and allowing the shield to function where a single-pivot system could not.
The Variable Axis System pivot cover is smaller and lower, providing more shell area above the cover and a smoother profile along the Snell test line in the temple area. The helmet features a one-piece, multi-density EPS liner and Z Resin construction, which combines several resins and bonds the shell’s layers and materials securely with less resin. The Pro Shade System adapts to changing light conditions while allowing airflow at high speed.
Glasses compatibility is supported by removable foam in the top of each earcup, allowing eyeglass arms to slide into the helmet. The earcups are removable, with removable covers for washing and access. The VAS-Z shield accepts a VAS-Z Pinlock lens, and a Pinlock 120 fog-resistant lens is included.
