The Arai Helmets Ram-X helmet in Fluorescent Yellow, size XL, is designed for riders seeking advanced protection, optical performance, and long-wearing comfort. Its intermediate oval shape fits the majority of head shapes in the North American market, providing a secure and comfortable foundation for a broad range of riders. Manufacturer part number 0104-2938 and vendor part number 0104-2938 identify this specific Ram-X configuration.
The helmet features Arai’s Variable Axis System (VAS) pivot and VAS-Z shield system. The lower dual-pivot assembly allows the shield to function while creating a smoother shell profile around the temple area. This design helps the helmet glance off objects more effectively during an impact and supports smoother contact with the ground or other obstacles. The VAS-Z shield accepts a VAS-Z Pinlock lens, and a Pinlock-120 fog-resistant lens is included for improved visibility in changing riding conditions.
A one-piece, multi-density EPS liner is engineered to manage impact energy, while Arai’s Z Resin construction bonds multiple shell layers and materials securely with less resin. This approach supports shell strength while helping reduce weight. The Pro Shade System adapts to different lighting conditions without compromising impact absorption performance and permits airflow at high speed.
Additional rider-focused details include glasses compatibility, with removable upper earcup foam that provides space for eyeglass arms to slide comfortably into the helmet. The earcups can be removed, and their covers are washable for convenient maintenance. This Arai Helmets Ram-X is a size XL helmet in Fluorescent Yellow and is supplied with the manufacturer’s VAS-Z Pinlock-120 fog-resistant lens.
