The ARAI HELMETS Corsair-X Tetsuta Helmet in Medium features a VAS shield mechanism designed to make shield changes easier. Its dual-function lever releases both the side cover and shield pin for quick shield removal. The VAS mechanism uses a variable axis with a moving pivot point, helping the shield open and close smoothly despite the lower shield mount position. A shield latch captures and securely holds the shield closed, while its larger design supports intuitive shield operation and includes a de-mist function.
The helmet features a PB-SNC² shell made from super fiber and synthetic fibers for tensile strength, flexibility, and reduced weight. Its smaller, lower VAS pivot cover and smooth shell in the temple area support glance-off ability during an impact.
