The ARAI HELMETS Corsair-X Tsubasa helmet in Medium features the VAS shield mechanism, which uses a variable axis and moving pivot point to support smooth shield opening and closing with a lower shield mount position. A dual-function lever releases both the side cover and shield pin for quick shield removal, while the visible mechanism helps simplify shield changes.
The VAS latch captures and securely holds the shield closed and includes a de-mist function for intuitive operation.
