The ARAI HELMETS Corsair-X Shogun Helmet in size XS combines the Corsair-X platform with advanced shield operation, ventilation, and shell construction features. Its VAS shield mechanism uses a variable axis with a moving pivot point to help the shield open and close smoothly despite the lower shield mount position. The dual-function lever releases both the side cover and shield pin, supporting quick and simple shield removal, while the visible mechanism helps make shield changes easier.
The VAS Max-V (BV) shield provides visibility for all seasons and types of riding, and a clear Pinlock® insert is standard with the Corsair-X. The larger shield latch includes a de-mist function and is designed for intuitive operation. It captures and securely holds the shield closed to help prevent unexpected opening. The smaller, lower VAS pivot cover and smooth shell in the temple area support the helmet's glance-off ability during an impact.
The PB-SNC² shell is created from super fiber and synthetic fibers to provide tensile strength and flexibility characteristics in a strong shell with less weight. Diffuser Type 12 air intake vents offer three positions and are designed to improve sealing while decreasing road noise and water intrusion. The IC Duct5 switch also features three positions, is easier to open, and helps limit water intrusion when fully closed while providing airflow. A fully removable odor-resistant interior comfort liner helps maintain a neutral pH level close to the skin, with removable temple padding and a removable, replaceable crown pad for a customized fit.
