Contour-X Helmet - Jolly Roger - Small
The Arai Contour-X Helmet combines touring-focused comfort, ventilation, and aerodynamic stability with Arai’s renowned shell design. Finished in the Jolly Roger graphic and offered in a Small size, this motorcycle helmet uses Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction (PB-cLc2) to provide lightweight strength with a smooth, organic profile. The Variable Axis System (VAS) lowers the visor mounting position and creates a smoother shell shape intended to help the helmet glance off energy more effectively. The shell opening is flared by 5 mm to make putting the helmet on and taking it off easier, while the flat-sided design supports convenient communication-system installation without compromising the inner EPS liner.

- Logo Duct: A 3D Arai logo duct feeds two central 10 mm intake ports and can be opened or closed easily with a short-stroke lever that is glove-friendly and designed for use in summer or winter conditions.
- Breakaway Vent Design: The logo duct is designed to break away in the event of an impact for added consideration in the helmet’s overall protective design.
- Aerodynamic Rear Spoiler: A one-piece rear exhaust and spoiler assembly uses a three-way switch and three shell ports to draw air efficiently while smoothing airflow and reducing buffeting at highway speeds.
- Spoiler Construction: The thin, lightweight rear spoiler is designed to crush or break away upon impact without influencing protective performance.
- Chin Vent: A three-position sliding chin vent provides open, midway, and closed settings, delivers a large intake volume of air, and includes a replaceable filter.
- Glove-Friendly Controls: The thicker sliding chin-vent mechanism is designed for easy operation while wearing riding gloves.
- Communication System Integration: The shell is shaped for straightforward exterior communication-system installation without compromising the protection offered by the inner EPS liner.
- PB-cLc2 Shell: Peripherally Belted Complex Laminate Construction combines lightweight strength with integrated side ducts and a smooth, organic shell profile.
- Super Fiber Belt: An additional layer of super fiber reinforces a crucial shell area while maintaining flat sides for easier intercom fitment.
