The Alpinestars Youth Neck Support is designed for kids ages 8–14 and features a compact, easy-to-use design for riding. Its engineered shape is intended to fit with the Alpinestars A-5 S, while the support can also be worn on its own using the included A-strap.
The left and right rigid frames use a polymer compound combination with smooth internal edges made from soft-injected EVA for fit and stable positioning. The overall frame construction dissipates energy loads by transmitting them across the back. A flexible connector between the frames allows the neck support to follow the body's movements while riding, and the front chin plates dissipate helmet pressure during impacts.
The quick-release closure system helps make the neck support easy to engage and disengage. The manufacturer part number is 6540118-155-OS, and the vendor part number is 6540118-155-OS. Fitment includes compatibility with the Alpinestars A-5 S; it may also be worn independently with the included A-strap.
