The ALPINESTARS Nucleon KR-3 Back Protector is designed for protective coverage across the spinal area with an ergonomic, vented construction. This XS model uses a single-injected lattice structure shell made from a high-performance polymeric material blend to provide flexibility, reduced weight, impact absorption and airflow. The convex central hard-shell design provides focused protection for the spine, while Nucleon PU foam in the central spine area adds impact absorption performance.
Horizontal flex grooves support an adaptive fit in different riding positions. An adjustable rib protector adds side protection, while protective padding extensions help guard the acromion bones. The waist adjustment, slim vented kidney belt and adjustable, detachable elastic shoulder straps with a snap-fit system allow the protector to be customized for a secure and comfortable fit. The product data identifies the manufacturer part number and vendor part number as 6504718-13-XS.
