The Tech-Air® 5 Plasma System features an integrated Nucleon Plasma back protector, an eco-conscious, lightweight impact-absorbing material designed to balance force dispersion, flexibility, airflow, and comfort. The ultra-thin, mono-layer stretch mesh chassis contours around the airbag and promotes breathability across the collar, underarms, and front of the body. Moisture-wicking treatment helps improve comfort during extended rides, while the adaptive fit supports consistent wear beneath a compatible jacket. The single-canister design helps reduce system weight, supports rapid inflation, and simplifies maintenance, while the user-replaceable gas canister helps streamline servicing.
Riders can select from three operating modes—Street, Off-Road, and Race—to match different riding environments and preferences. After the system is switched on, press and hold the system button for two seconds to cycle through the available modes; a solid green LED indicates the active selection. The LED button also provides a quick system-status check, with a vibration confirming that the system is functioning correctly. A quick-release cover attaches with a hook-and-loop patch and provides convenient access to the gas inflator when replacement is required.
