A concealed front LED display shows the system operating status and uses reflective backing for improved visibility. The display also provides haptic alerts, including vibration confirmation when the system is armed and warnings when battery power is low. Alpinestars’ compact second-generation electronic control unit supports Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connectivity with the Tech-Air App, allowing riders to check system and battery status, review rides through MyRide, and access software updates. The integrated certified lithium-ion battery provides up to 40 hours of operation and recharges in approximately four hours. The ECU is certified for all-weather performance from -20°C to 40°C. The airbag, wiring, and inflator housing are removable, while gas inflator canisters may be replaced by select Alpinestars dealers and certified Tech-Air Service Centers. The canvas vest is washable after removing the electronics.
