Supertech R10 Helmet - Solid - Carbon Black - 2XL

The Alpinestars Supertech R10 Helmet in Solid Carbon Black is a high-performance motorcycle helmet designed for riders who demand advanced protection, aerodynamic stability, and a precise fit. Part number 8200124-1902-XXL, this 2XL helmet features a multi-composite outer shell combining a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, unidirectional carbon composite, aramid fiber, and fiberglass. The pre-preg fiber construction uses epoxy resin to help maintain an ideal resin-to-fiber ratio, maximizing strength, mechanical performance, weight efficiency, and energy management during an impact.
The helmet's four-piece inner shell construction is engineered to improve fit, comfort, and impact performance. An eight-piece, multi-density EPS liner uses six strategically positioned densities to help absorb and distribute impact forces throughout the helmet. Its smooth, specially coated inner surface creates a low-friction area designed to help manage linear and oblique forces. This allows the comfort liner and rider's head to move more independently inside the helmet, helping reduce transmitted forces to the head, neck, brain, and spine during an oblique impact.
An integrated A-Head Fitment System allows riders to fine-tune both the height and angle of the helmet for a more personalized fit. Aerodynamic development included CFD simulations, wind-tunnel validation, and track testing to optimize low-drag performance and stability. Lateral winglets support aerodynamic balance, while visor turbulators help improve aero-acoustic performance. The ventilation system uses 11 dedicated ports, including seven intakes and four exhausts, with air channels integrated through the EPS liner to circulate airflow around the rider's head and remove hot, humid air.
The top vent includes a large central slider that directs airflow toward the crown and supports forehead heat extraction when open. Rear extractor vents help exhaust warm air, while chin vents channel airflow toward the shield to help reduce fogging and misting. Constructed for demanding street and track use, the Alpinestars Supertech R10 combines carbon-based shell technology, adaptable fitment, multi-density impact management, focused ventilation, and race-developed aerodynamics in a professional-grade helmet package.

Features:

  • Outer Shell: Multi-composite construction combines a 3K high-density carbon outer layer, unidirectional carbon composite, aramid fiber, and fiberglass for strength, efficient energy dissipation, and controlled shell deflection.
  • Pre-Preg Fiber Construction: Epoxy resin applied to the pre-preg fiber helps control the resin-to-fiber ratio for optimized strength, mechanical performance, and weight efficiency.
  • Inner Shell: Four inner shell sections are designed to improve fit, comfort, weight efficiency, and impact performance.
  • Multi-Density EPS Liner: Eight-piece EPS construction with six strategically positioned densities helps absorb and distribute impact forces while maintaining a close, comfortable fit.
  • Oblique Impact Management: Smooth, specially coated EPS surfaces create a low-friction area that helps manage rotational, oblique, and linear forces.
  • A-Head Fitment System: Adjustable height and angle settings allow riders to tune how the helmet sits on the head.
  • Aerodynamics: CFD simulations, wind-tunnel testing, and track validation support low-drag performance and aerodynamic stability.
  • Lateral Winglets: Winglets help support helmet stability and aerodynamic performance.
  • Visor Turbulators: Integrated turbulators are designed to improve aero-acoustic performance.
  • Ventilation: Eleven dedicated ventilation points include seven intakes and four exhausts for continuous airflow management.
  • Airflow Channels: Shell-integrated ports and EPS air ducts circulate air around the rider's head and help remove heat and humidity.
  • Chin Ventilation: Chin vents direct airflow toward the shield to help reduce fogging and misting while supporting humid-air extraction.
  • Rear Extraction: Two rear extractor vents help exhaust warm air from beneath the spoiler.
