The Alpinestars SMX Z Drystar gloves are designed for motorcycle riders who need dependable weather protection, abrasion resistance, and precise control feel. Built with a supple, highly durable full-grain goat leather chassis, these gloves provide a comfortable combination of flexibility and core protection for street riding, commuting, touring, and everyday motorcycle use. The black and fluo red colorway delivers a distinctive appearance while maintaining the functional design expected from Alpinestars riding gear. This product is supplied in size XL and is identified by manufacturer and vendor part number 3527421-1030-XL.
The integrated Alpinestars 100% waterproof Drystar® performance membrane helps keep hands dry in wet riding conditions while using a reduced-material chassis to support dexterity and sensitivity at the handlebars. Stretch material across the back of the hand and additional stretch inserts help create an optimal fit, allowing natural hand movement when operating the clutch, brake lever, and other bike controls. The design is suitable for a broad range of motorcycles and is especially well matched to riders seeking a versatile waterproof glove for road-going applications.
Protection features include a hard knuckle protector engineered to provide impact and abrasion resistance, along with suede side-hand reinforcements for added strength in high-wear areas. Palm reinforcement supports durability and grip, while rolling palm construction across the pinky adds further abrasion protection during a slide or contact event. These elements work together to provide confidence without creating an unnecessarily bulky feel.
For everyday convenience, the index finger and thumb include touchscreen-compatible fingertip areas, allowing riders to operate compatible mobile devices without removing their gloves. The Alpinestars SMX Z Drystar gloves combine waterproof performance, durable leather construction, protective reinforcement, and control-friendly flexibility in a practical riding glove. Choose the XL size for the specified fit, and reference part number 3527421-1030-XL when confirming compatibility or ordering replacement gear.
