The Alpinestars SMX Waterproof Jacket in Medium is designed for motorcycle riding and is Tech-Air 5 ready. Its engineered sports body-mapped fit and precurved sleeves support riding performance, while strategically positioned stretch panel inserts accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System and provide a comfortable fit when the system is not installed. The chassis combines poly-fabric and stretch softshell materials for comfort, durability and reduced weight.
A 2L waterproof membrane and Durable Water Repellent treatment on the fixed waterproof membrane provide wet-weather performance. The detachable thermal liner features 100g insulation in the body and 80g in the sleeves, allowing the jacket to be configured for changing conditions. Nucleon Flex Plus armor is included at the shoulders and elbows. Nucleon Level 1 chest and Nucleon Level 1 and 2 back protectors are available as accessory upgrades. DFS Lite shoulders with a dynamic friction shield add abrasion-resistant performance.
The jacket includes a low-profile sports collar with soft lining, an elongated rear for additional riding coverage and a shock-cord waist for a secure closure. Storage includes two front zippered pockets, two chest pockets, an inner waterproof document pocket and two inner liner pockets. The durable, easy-to-use zip front closure completes the design.
