The Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon V2 motorcycle gloves combine full-grain leather, 3D mesh, microfiber, and premium suede for durable riding performance with enhanced airflow. Finished in black, red, and white, these size XL gloves are designed for motorcycle riders who want a comfortable, protective fit for everyday street riding, commuting, and warm-weather use. The pre-curved finger construction helps reduce riding fatigue, while stretch finger sidewalls and the exclusive Alpinestars ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and thumb support natural hand movement.
The gloves feature an ergonomically shaped Alpinestars carbon knuckle guard reinforced on the interior for added protection. Thick EVA foam reinforces the interior side of the guard to improve fit, comfort, and shock absorption, while additional impact-absorbing EVA foam panels protect the thumb. The premium suede palm and landing reinforcement help strengthen high-contact areas, and the microfiber and polyurethane grip insert on the palm and thumb promotes secure control of motorcycle grips. Thermoplastic rubber inserts on the finger tops and back of the hand add further protection without unnecessarily restricting flexibility.
Ventilation is supported by polymesh sections on the fingers and back of the hand, along with 3D mesh surfaces on the fingers and thumb for cooling performance. A neoprene wrist cuff, hook-and-loop fastening, and TPR closure help provide a secure, adjustable fit. Touchscreen-compatible material on the index fingertip and thumb allows convenient device operation without removing the gloves. The Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon V2 is sized XL for a comfortable motorcycle glove fit and is suitable for riders seeking a versatile combination of airflow, grip, flexibility, and impact protection.
