The Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon V2 Gloves are performance-focused motorcycle riding gloves designed for riders who want dependable hand protection, airflow, comfort, and precise control. Finished in black and sized 2XL, these gloves feature a durable multi-panel main shell that combines full-grain leather with breathable 3D mesh. The construction is suited for street riding, touring, commuting, and other motorcycle applications where flexibility and impact protection are essential. The manufacturer part number and vendor part number are both 3567717-10-2X.
The palm incorporates an innovative microfiber and polyurethane grip insert across the palm and thumb for improved handlebar control. An ergonomic stretch insert between the palm and thumb supports natural hand movement, while the premium suede palm and landing reinforcement add durability in high-contact areas. Pre-curved fingers help reduce riding fatigue, and stretch finger sidewalls improve flexibility and comfort during extended rides. Three-dimensional mesh surfaces on the fingers and thumb promote cooling airflow, helping manage heat while maintaining a secure fit.
Protection is provided by an ergonomically shaped Alpinestars carbon knuckle guard with interior reinforcement for added strength. The guard is backed by thick EVA foam to improve fit, comfort, and shock absorption, while additional impact-absorbing EVA foam panels protect the thumb. Finger tops and the back of the hand feature polymesh and thermoplastic rubber inserts for a balance of coverage and mobility. A neoprene wrist cuff, hook-and-loop adjustment, and TPR closure help secure the gloves during use. The touchscreen-compatible index fingertip and thumb allow convenient operation of compatible devices without removing the gloves. The Alpinestars SMX-2 Air Carbon V2 is a suitable fit for adult riders seeking breathable, protective motorcycle gloves in a 2XL size.
