The Alpinestars SMX Waterproof Jacket is designed for motorcycle riding and is Tech-Air 5 ready. Its engineered sports body-mapped fit and pre-curved sleeves support riding performance, while strategically positioned stretch panel inserts accommodate the Alpinestars Airbag System and provide an anatomical fit when the system is not installed. The jacket features a poly-fabric and stretch softshell chassis with a 2L waterproof membrane for wet-weather performance.
A durable water-repellent treatment on the fixed waterproof membrane provides additional weather protection. The detachable thermal liner features 100g insulation in the body and 80g in the sleeves, allowing the jacket to be configured for different climates. Nucleon Flex Plus armor is included at the shoulders and elbows, while Nucleon chest Level 1 and Nucleon Level 1 and 2 back protectors are available as accessory upgrades. DFS Lite shoulders with a dynamic friction shield add abrasion resistance.
The low-profile sports collar has a soft lining for rider comfort, and the elongated rear improves coverage while riding. A shock-cord waist provides a secure closure. Storage includes two front zippered pockets, two chest pockets, an inner waterproof document pocket, and two inner liner pockets. The durable zip front closure is designed for easy use. This Night Navy/Dark Gray, size Large jacket is identified by manufacturer part number 3206523-7161-L and vendor part number 3206523-7161-L.
