The Alpinestars GP Pro R4 Gloves are premium racing gauntlet gloves designed for demanding track days and sport riding. This XL model features a black, fluo red, and white finish and combines bovine and goat leather on the backhand with supple kangaroo leather across the palm and fingers. The construction delivers a balanced blend of durability, tactile feel, flexibility, and abrasion resistance for riders who need precise control without sacrificing protection. The gloves are designed to fit over the wrist and provide extended cuff coverage for use with compatible motorcycle racing jackets and suits.
The GP Pro R4 Gloves use Alpinestars Dynamic Friction Shield (DFS) Race protectors at the knuckles and cuffs to help manage repeated impacts and sliding forces. Dual-density knuckle protection is mounted softly for an adaptive fit and improved comfort, while TPU finger protectors, stitched leather reinforcement panels, palm hard sliders, and finger sliders provide additional coverage in high-risk areas. Impact-absorbing layers protect the fingers, backhand, palm landing zone, and side of the hand. An aramidic lining reinforces the backhand and landing zone, and the finger bridge between the third and fourth fingers helps reduce finger separation and roll during a slide.
Comfort and control are supported by perforated knuckle gussets for airflow, accordion leather panels across the fingers, thumb, and backhand, and an inner-seam palm construction that reduces irritation during extended riding. The dual closure system combines a wrist adjuster with a secure cuff flap to help keep the gloves properly positioned. These gloves are intended for performance-oriented motorcycle use, including closed-course racing, track days, and aggressive sport riding. Brand: Alpinestars. Model: GP Pro R4 Gloves. Size: XL.
