The Alpinestars Austral GTX Touring Shoe combines streamlined hi-top styling with dependable motorcycle protection and all-weather comfort. Designed for riders who need versatile footwear on and off the bike, this black and dark gray touring shoe features a waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX® liner that helps keep feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture vapor to escape. The lightweight, abrasion-resistant microfiber upper provides durable performance, while the traditional lace closure and lateral hook-and-loop adjustment deliver a secure, personalized fit.
Protection is integrated throughout the shoe without compromising walking comfort. Dual-density ankle protectors are positioned between the upper and padded lining for targeted coverage, while the TPU heel counter supports impact protection and stability. Internal toe box reinforcements add protection in a streamlined, ergonomic package, and the asymmetric toe area provides additional coverage over the shift zone. The rubber sole uses a high-grip compound with shock-absorbing properties and an integrated support shank for improved rigidity and control.
Primaloft® insulation is strategically placed around the forefoot and toe areas for added warmth, while the perforated microfiber and soft textile tongue promotes breathability and comfort. A textile rear calf section enhances flexibility, and the removable anatomic EVA footbed is topped with Lycra® for cushioned support. This Alpinestars Austral GTX shoe is sized US 9.5 / EU 42.5 and is designed for motorcycle touring, commuting, and everyday riding applications. Manufacturer and vendor part number: 2337125-111-9.5.
