The Alpinestars Austral GTX Touring Shoe combines everyday walking comfort with dependable motorcycle protection and weather resistance. Designed in a streamlined hi-top profile, this black and dark gray riding shoe features a waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX® membrane to help keep feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture vapor to escape. The lightweight, abrasion-resistant microfiber upper supports long-term durability and provides a sleek appearance suitable for use on and off the motorcycle.
Primaloft® insulation is positioned around the forefoot and toe areas to help maintain comfort in cooler conditions. The lace closure system and wide-aperture entry make the shoe easy to put on, while the lateral adjustable hook-and-loop closure adds a secure, precise fit. A perforated microfiber and soft textile tongue, breathable textile rear calf section, removable anatomic EVA footbed with Lycra lining, and high-flex inner structure help provide comfortable support during extended rides and walking.
Protection is integrated throughout the Alpinestars Austral GTX. Dual-density ankle protectors are positioned between the upper and padded lining, while the thermoplastic polyurethane heel counter helps protect and stabilize the heel. Internal toe box reinforcements provide streamlined coverage, and the asymmetric toe area adds protection over the shift zone. The rubber outsole uses a textured-grip compound with shock absorption and an integrated support shank for improved rigidity, traction, and control. This US 11.5 / EU 45 touring shoe is designed for riders seeking versatile footwear for street riding, touring, commuting, and daily wear.
