The Alpinestars Austral Gore-Tex Touring Boots combine a streamlined hi-top profile with dependable weather protection and everyday riding comfort. Designed for riders who need versatile footwear on and off the motorcycle, these black and dark gray boots feature a waterproof, breathable Gore-Tex membrane that helps keep feet dry in wet conditions while allowing moisture vapor to escape. The lightweight, abrasion-resistant microfiber upper supports long-term durability, while the traditional lace closure and lateral adjustable hook-and-loop strap provide a secure, precise fit.
Insulation is provided by strategically positioned PrimaLoft® between the upper and lining, helping maintain comfort around the forefoot and toes in cooler conditions. The perforated microfiber and soft textile tongue, along with the breathable textile rear calf, improve airflow and flexibility. An asymmetric toe design adds coverage in the shift area, while internal toe box reinforcements provide streamlined protection beneath the upper. Dual-density ankle protectors and a thermoplastic polyurethane heel counter help protect key impact zones while improving support and stability.
The sports sole uses a high-flex inner structure for improved walking comfort, making the Austral a practical choice for commuting, touring, and daily use. Its rubber compound delivers textured grip and shock absorption, while the integrated support shank adds sole rigidity for confident footing. A removable anatomical EVA footbed with a Lycra® top lining provides cushioning and support throughout the day. The Alpinestars Austral Gore-Tex Touring Boots are supplied in black and dark gray in US men's size 9, equivalent to EU size 42.
