The ACERBIS skid plate is a next-generation sub-engine protector designed for the Yamaha XTZ700 Ténéré. Made from high-strength, impact-resistant plastic with an integrated fin, it helps protect the shock absorber linkage, chassis, water pump, side housings and engine areas from stones, earth, mud and other trail impacts. The fin is designed to slide smoothly over natural obstacles while maintaining adherence to the linkage.

Flexible, lightweight plastic helps reduce vibration and surface damage to the chassis and engine. Integrated air intakes provide aeration, reduce the entry of gravel, earth and mud, and facilitate washing operations inside the sub-engine. The skid plate uses the motorcycle's original bindings for intuitive assembly and disassembly during routine maintenance and engine washing.
