The ACERBIS Skid Plate Black, model 2421150001, is designed for the 1996–2005 Suzuki DR650SE. It is manufactured with high-strength, impact-resistant plastic and features an integrated fin to help protect the shock absorber linkage from impacts, mud, sand, stones and earth during off-road riding.
The fin is designed to slide over natural obstacles while maintaining adherence to the linkage, supporting a smoother ride. Flexible, lightweight plastic helps reduce vibration and surface damage to the chassis and engine. Extended protection areas cover the side housings, water pump and chassis areas.
Air intakes provide aeration and help facilitate washing inside the skid plate while reducing the entry of gravel, earth and mud. The skid plate uses the motorcycle’s original bindings for intuitive installation and removal during routine engine maintenance and washing. It is compatible with simultaneous use of the X-Power crankcase, ignition and clutch protection. Manufacturer part number: 2421150001. Vendor part number: 24211-50001.
