The ACERBIS Skid Plate Black, model 22502-90001, is designed to protect the underside of compatible motorcycles from stones, earth, mud, impacts and other natural obstacles. Its high-strength plastic construction features an integrated fin that helps protect the shock absorber linkage while allowing the motorcycle to slide smoothly over obstacles. The fin design also promotes adherence to the linkage.
The flexible, lightweight plastic construction helps reduce vibration and surface damage to the chassis and engine. Air intakes provide added lightness and aeration while facilitating washing operations inside the skid plate and helping reduce the entry of gravel, earth and mud. Extended protection covers the side housings, water pump and chassis areas.
Installation and removal use the motorcycle's original bindings, supporting intuitive assembly, disassembly and routine maintenance. The skid plate is compatible with simultaneous use of X-Power protection for the crankcase ignition and clutch.
