The 6D Helmets ATS-1R Alpha Helmet combines advanced protection, refined aerodynamics, and practical rider-focused features for street and performance riding. Finished in Silver and offered in Large, this helmet uses a 3K carbon fiber shell with an improved fit, a larger shell opening, and an enhanced impact management system. The 6D Omni-Directional Suspension (ODS) technology uses two separate EPS liners connected by elastomeric isolation dampers to help reduce linear and angular acceleration forces during low-, medium-, and high-velocity impacts. The inner liner is designed for controlled three-dimensional displacement during an impact, helping manage energy transfer to the rider’s head and brain.
The ATS-1R includes an anti-scratch shield certified to VESC-8, shield base plate and sealing improvements, tool-less shield changing, and 10-position shield adjustment with a lockdown lever. A clear Pinlock 120XLT anti-fog insert is included to help maintain visibility in changing riding conditions, while UV protection and an internal breath guard help reduce shield fogging. The helmet is eyewear compatible and includes integrated speaker pockets for communication systems.
Ventilation is managed through four adjustable intake ports, internal brow vents, and strategically positioned top, side, and rear exhaust vents. Air is directed through a network of transfer ports to support consistent circulation through the helmet. Glove-friendly chin, brow, and crown intakes make adjustments easy while riding, and the ODS AIR-GAP ventilation system further supports airflow management. A removable neck cuff and chin curtain allow riders to tailor the fit and level of coverage, while the aerodynamic wing helps reduce drag, buffeting, and lift at higher speeds.
