The helmet uses a 12K carbon fiber shell designed for a lightweight structure with penetration resistance, along with RHEON Impact Energy Cells to help manage low-speed linear and rotational impacts. Conehead EPS Technology and expanded-volume EPS provide impact-absorbing material in strategically tuned areas, while the EPP chin bar adds another element of impact mitigation and energy absorption.

Quin Race Sensor technology uses five scientific-grade sensors to evaluate data during use and automatically detect a crash event. Through the Fly Smart App and Bluetooth 5.0 connection, the system can record impact data, provide live GPS tracking, speed, acceleration and Q-Score information, and notify emergency contacts. A five-tap SOS Beacon can also notify emergency contacts and emergency services for APEX subscribers. Wireless updates help keep the device current, and integrated LED lights indicate device status and flash red if a crash occurs.

Comfort and ventilation features include washable, moisture-wicking, anti-microbial comfort liner and quick-release cheek pads, custom-molded rubber trim with an integrated nose guard, and True Functional Ventilation. Air enters through multiple intake vents, travels through aligned EPS channels and exits through rear exhaust vents. The rechargeable battery supports a two-hour fast-charge mode through Micro USB and up to 60 days of battery life depending on usage, with automatic sleep and rise-to-wake functions.
