Its combined pin and double-pivot trajectories support smooth shield opening and closing with a lower shield mount position. A dual-function lever releases both the side cover and shield pin for quick shield removal, while the visible mechanism helps simplify shield changes.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe VAS latch includes a de-mist function and is designed to capture and securely hold the shield closed. The VAS Max-V (BV) shield provides visibility for all seasons and types of riding, and a clear Pinlock® insert is standard with the Corsair-X. The smaller, lower VAS pivot cover and smooth shell profile in the temple area are designed to improve the helmet’s ability to glance off objects during an impact.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eThe PB-SNC² shell is created from super fiber and synthetic fibers to provide tensile strength and flexibility characteristics. The removable odor-resistant interior comfort liner helps maintain a neutral pH level close to the skin, while removable temple padding and a removable, replaceable crown pad support customized fit adjustments. Diffuser Type 12 air intake vents offer three positions and are designed to improve sealing while decreasing road noise and water intrusion. The IC Duct5 provides airflow, features a three-position switch, and is designed to limit water intrusion when fully closed. Manufacturer part number: 0101-18510.
